IV Eagle Flyby - November 11, 2022

You know that we are headed into the holiday season when you hear the band, jazz band, chorus, select choir, orchestra, and orchestra ensembles preparing for their winter concerts. They sound awesome and I can see and feel the excitement from the performers when I visit their classes. Additionally, the select choir is competing in B101.1’s Christmas Choir Competition. We will know the Wednesday before Thanksgiving if we are one of the semifinalists in the competition. Please wish Mrs. Ramage and the Select Choir the best!

Another great Girls in STEM activity will be held on Monday, November 14, 2022, until 4:30 PM. We are lucky enough to have The Teach Girls Tech Club coming to Indian Valley Middle School. This is a club at the high school designed to encourage middle school girls to join technology and engineering classes once they get to high school, and ultimately, enter those career fields. The club has held activities at Indian Valley before and is extremely excited to be back this year for an engineering activity! The girls will be making Catapults during this activity, testing their invention, adjusting the invention, and then ultimately seeing whose catapult shoots the farthest!!!! It will be a great time. Your daughter can reach out to their science teacher for a form or see Ms. Thomas in room C14. We need to know how many students will be attending. For additional information, contact Mrs. Suzanne Thomas at
