IV SAVE and Garden of Health Inc. Food Bank

We are very grateful to the Garden of Health Inc. Food Bank for their huge donation of flowering and vegetable seeds for the IV Garden. The Garden of Health distributes fresh produce and allergen-friendly foods to those in need to cover 50 food pantries and community organizations. Through partnerships with local greenhouses, farms, wholesale distributors and national brands they collect and distribute hundreds of thousands of pounds of food each year. The IV SAVE Club is excited to work with the Garden of Health in providing fresh food for food pantries and community organizations. You can visit the Garden of Health Web site and contact Mrs. Suzanne Thomas ( or Mr. Zack Hockman ( with any questions about the IV SAVE Club.

IVTV Visits High School Red Alert Live Broadcast

On Friday, November 10th, some of our IVTV Morning Show students took a trip to SAHS to watch Red Alert Live. The students got a behind the scenes look at the preparation and production of this 20-minute live student run show. We even made it on the show! A special thanks to Mr. Ruth and the Red Alert students for being fantastic hosts! IVTV broadcasts daily every morning at 7:45 AM and will be working with the High School Red Alert Team to run a similar live broadcast IV. Please contact Mr. Brad Pukay at for more information.

Deck the Halls

It's that time of the year... for the SECOND ANNUAL "Deck the Halls”!

A school wide event where each advisory class creates their own festive themed prompt (Last year was a Christmas Tree.) and then they are hung all around the main hallways in preparation for the holiday season! The event is scheduled for Friday, November 17. The theme for this year is gingerbread houses. Awards will be presented to the gingerbread houses that are most creative, most festive, and best in the show. For more information, contact Mrs. Amanda Nolan at

Volunteer Opportunities (IV Helping Hands)

We continue to have had a lot of activities through the months of November and December and are grateful to all the parents that volunteered to help with them. The wheel continues rolling and below is updated volunteer information and opportunities for parents to volunteer.

Parents interested in signing up to be included on the volunteer roster will help with volunteer recruitment efforts and coordinate communications to you. Signing up on this site does not commit you. A separate communication for each event will provide activity information and solicit your volunteer commitment (could include set up, chaperoning, fundraising, donating food or other items, event support, etc.).

See the parent volunteer registration form.  Below are upcoming volunteer opportunities.
