IV Eagle Flyby - October 13, 2023

The first marking period seems to be flying by quickly as there are 14 days remaining. The end of the first marking period is Thursday, November 2, 2023. Report cards will be fully updated on Home Access Center (HAC) on Monday, November 13. Also, fall athletics will be ending at the conclusion of the month. Look for information from Mrs. Lepping, our athletic director, for information on winter sports.

There is still a lot going on over the next two weeks. Character Counts week is from Monday, October 16 through Friday, October 20. The bingo party for the fundraiser and cookie dough pick up is Tuesday, October 17. Pink Out Day is Friday, October 27. The Career Café for students is also on Friday, October 27. Lastly, our Halloween Dress Up Day is Tuesday, October 31.

Character Counts Week

In celebration of Character Counts Week, students and staff are asked to wear the Character Counts colors for the day.

• Monday, October 16 – Purple – Citizenship
• Tuesday, October 17 – Green – Responsibility
• Wednesday, October 18 – Gold – Respect
• Thursday, October 19 – Blue – Honesty
• Friday, October 20 – Red – Caring

Cookie Dough Pick Up – Tuesday, October 17, 2023

Cookie dough orders from the fundraiser can be picked up in the cafeteria beginning at 3:00 PM. I ask that parents park in the E-Wing parking lot near where the main entrance was last year during the renovation. Students will take any small orders home after the bingo party. Please call the main office at 215-256-8896 with any questions regarding picking up cookie dough deliveries.

Volunteer Opportunities (IV Helping Hands)

We continue to have had a lot of activities through the months of October, November, and December and are grateful to all the parents that volunteered to help with them. The wheel continues rolling and below is updated volunteer information and opportunities for parents to volunteer.  

Parents interested in signing up to be included on the volunteer roster will help with volunteer recruitment efforts and coordinate communications to you. Signing up on this site does not commit you. A separate communication for each event will provide activity information and solicit your volunteer commitment (could include set up, chaperoning, fundraising, donating food or other items, event support, etc.).
