IV Eagle Flyby - September 29, 2023
Volunteer Opportunities (IV Helping Hands)
We have had a lot of activities through the month of September and are grateful to all the parents that volunteered to help with them. The wheel is rolling and below is updated volunteer information and opportunities for parents to volunteer.
Parents interested in signing up to be included on the volunteer roster will help with volunteer recruitment efforts and coordinate communications to you. Signing up on this site does not commit you. A separate communication for each event will provide activity information and solicit your volunteer commitment (could include set up, chaperoning, fundraising, donating food or other items, event support, etc.). See the parent volunteer registration form.

IV Student Council
IV Student Council is always active in events throughout the school year. This month they held a soft pretzel sale after school and a donut sale prior to the start of the school day. They are currently planning the fall spirit assembly and activity night. IV’s student council cabinet are Michael Lyons (President), Camryn Bauer (Vice President), Ethan Heck (Secretary), and Hannah DeCaro (Treasurer). Mrs. Nicole Bauer is the faculty advisor. They are an awesome team and have a lot planned for the year.
IV Advisory
Throughout the school year the advisory classes at IV focus on a monthly theme. The theme for September was team building. Every Monday in advisory class students participate in activities promoting the theme for the month. Inspirational messages are also read over the PA system. Below are the advisory themes for each month.
- October – Building Character
- November – Gratitude
- December – Empathy
- January – Kindness
- February – Cooperation
- March – Daring to Be Our Best
- April – Motivation
- May – Reflection and Celebration
Keystone Opportunity Center
Each year we donate food to the Keystone Opportunity Center. Thank you to all for your generous donations of food and personal care items this month. Your care has made a difference in the lives of families in our community. You can give to the Keystone Opportunity Center anytime, and they appreciate any support with donations. In November, the Student Council will run our annual Thanksgiving Food Drive. This is a big event for our students. Look for upcoming information from our Student Council Cabinet.
