100 Box Challenge - 2024

Next week, the IV LEO Club is running the Bean Bag 100 Box Challenge. It is a community effort to collect more than 100 boxes of food for children who face food insecurity in our neighborhoods. Donation boxes are placed in Block 1 classrooms for 7th and 8th grade students and Block 2 classrooms for 6th grade students to collect donations. Suggested, but not limited to, food items to donate are listed below.

Bean Bag  Program

  • Financial donations are welcome. You can scan the QR code above to donate online at or mail a check to Bean Bag Program, 149 Cherry Lane, Souderton, PA, 18964. One hundred percent of your financial donation will purchase food for Souderton Area School District children participating in the BBFP (Bean Bag Food Program).

Career Café on Friday, January 26, 2024
Ms. Toby posted a sign-up link on Schoology to attend the Marking Period 2 Career Café on Friday, January 26th. The Career Café is an opportunity to learn about careers from expert speakers during student lunch periods! All are encouraged to attend at least one Career Cafe per year.

Our Career Cafe Speakers this Marking Period are a Chemical Engineer and Business Continuity and Crisis Management Manager! As a reminder, space will be limited to 30 students per grade and for students who have not yet attended a Career Cafe this school year.

Focus MP3
Next week all students will select their focus courses for MP3. Their new focus classes will begin on Tuesday, January 30, 2024. Call the main office at 215-256-8896 with any questions about focus course offerings for MP3.

Souderton Area High School Strength Coach Joe O'Hara will be offering free training sessions at the high school for any 8th grade student-athlete from Indian Valley and Indian Crest.  For questions, please contact Joe at

Rescheduled Spirit Week – January 22 to January 26, 2024

  • Monday, January 22 – Hoodie and Flannel Pants Day – Wear your best hoodie and flannel pants.
  • Tuesday, January 23 – Jersey Day – Support your favorite team.
  • Wednesday, January 24 – No School – Teacher In-service Day
  • Thursday, January 25 – Teacher / Student Swap Day – Dress like a teacher for the day.
  • Friday, January 26 – Soudy Pride Day
    • 6th grade wear red
    • 7th grade wear white
    • 8th grade wear black

Rescheduled Activity Night
The Activity Night scheduled for Friday, January 19 has been rescheduled to Friday, February 23 from 7:00 to 9:00 PM. A cornhole tournament, bingo, and trivia are some of the activities scheduled for the evening.  The cornhole team sign-up sheets are in the main office.

Parents can sign up to volunteer online.    

Signing up on this site does not commit you. A separate communication for each event will provide activity information and solicit your volunteer commitment (could include set up, chaperoning, fundraising, donating food or other items, event support, etc.). Thank you to all parents for your support in making this program successful.
