8th to 9th Grade Scheduling Information for 2026-2027 at SAHS
Below is a timeline for the high school scheduling process for 8th graders who will attend SAHS starting in 2026-2027:
- January 5 - Counselors will work with Team Titan students during Advisory to learn more about course options at the high school and create a draft of their requests in pathwayMANAGER.
- January 12 - Counselors will work with Team Orion students during Advisory to learn more about course options at the high school and create a draft of their requests in pathwayMANAGER.
- Week of January 12 - Team Titan students will enter their course requests in Home Access Center during a lesson about scheduling.
- Week of January 19 - Team Orion students will enter their course requests in Home Access Center during a lesson about scheduling.
- April 7 - Deadline for students to make changes to their course requests. Students who want to make a change to their course requests after they submit them in January will need to contact their counselor to process the change.
Below are additional reminders about the scheduling process:
- After students submit their official requests in Home Access Center in January, they will need to contact their counselor if they want to make a change to one of their high school course requests. The deadline to change requests is April 7.
- The timing for submitting requests does not impact a student's ability to schedule a course. The high school does not start to process requests and create student schedules until April and May. Also, not all requests are guaranteed.
