Leo Club

Do you see yourself as a possible future leader, someone who would enjoy working with the Lions Club on service projects in our community, having fun with other kids from Valley and Crest, and representing Valley in activities around the community? If so, then the Leo Club might be for you!

What does the Leo Club do?

We work with the Harleysville Lions - our sponsoring Lions Club - on projects like White Cane Days (collecting money at Henning's for the Lion's work with the blind), participating in parades, helping out at the Lion's Chicken BBQ, and selling birch beer at the Harleysville Country Fair Days funnel cake stand.

We help the high school Leos with their Senior (Citizens) Prom, and we work with the high school and Indian Crest Leo Club to clean up a portion of a local road and walk in the Relay for Life.

We sell snowflakes in the winter, flowers for Mother's Day, attend Leo rallies, have a swim party...there is just so much to do! The club meets in C-23 with Mrs. Gossler, the advisor, after school on the 2rd Tuesday of the month from 3:00-4:00p.m.

We meet the 2nd Monday in the month of October, January, and April from 6:30-8:00p.m. at the Indian Valley YMCA where we catch up with the Leos from Indian Crest.

If you are involved in other activities and can't make it to all of the meetings just let us know and we will work with you! If you are interested in learning leadership skills, having fun with other kids around the district, and making a positive impact on our community, see Mrs. Heather Gossler (C-23) or check out the Leo Club bulletin board for information!
