Bible Study
Open to all grades. Student-led club based in learning about Christianity and how to live spirit-filled lives. Each meeting allows students opportunities to build friendships and encourage one another. Meetings are held each Friday from 7:00-7:30 AM. Students should be dropped off on E-wing side.

Bocce
Bocce is a Special Olympics-sponsored spring activity for all skill levels and grades that integrates disabled and non-disabled peers in a fun, competitive, and social game.

Bux-Mont Honors Chorus
Bux-Mont Honors Chorus is a music festival experience that takes place in the fall of each year and brings together middle school students from 3 neighboring school districts, North Penn, Methacton and Spring-Ford. Each school may send up to 15 students. There are 3 rehearsals (2 weeknights and 1 Saturday) and 1 concert. Parents/Guardians must provide transportation and there is a small performance fee. Indian Valley 7th and 8th Grade Chorus students are invited to audition for this incredible experience of rehearsing and performing with other like-minded, talented middle school students. Auditions are held during the first 2 weeks of school. Students who are selected will need to attend before and after school rehearsals to learn the music before the first evening rehearsal. Students who LOVE to sing and want to be challenged and make new friends are encouraged to audition.

Girls on the Run
Open to all grades. National program working to inspire girls to be joyful, healthy and confident using a fun, experience-based curriculum which creatively integrates running.
Season runs from February to May and practices are held after school.

Family Career and Community Leaders of America - FCCLA
Open to all students. Leadership organization that focuses on community and family. Students will participate in activities related to Family Consumer Science such as baking, sewing, designing, creating and serving the community. Meetings will take place throughout the year during Focus Block as well as before/after school.

Fellowship of Christian Athletes - FCA
Student led nationally recognized club. An interdenominational Christian sports ministry that provides students an opportunity to learn more about their faith and how to live out shared values in school, home and community. Meetings occur each Wednesday from 7:00 am-7:30 am and combine an activity and a challenge for the day.

Jazz Band
Jazz Band is open to all students who play an instrument traditionally found in the Jazz genre (sax, trumpet, trombone, percussion, guitar and bass, piano or keyboard bass). Interested students should sign up on the sheet that will be posted outside of the band room (B8). With the exception of pianists and guitarists, students must be in the concert band in order to be in Jazz Band. Membership for wind instruments is by the selection of the teacher based on progress in lessons and student interest. Students wishing to play piano, guitar, bass or drums must audition. Jazz Band meets in the band room on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and every other Friday at 7:00 AM prior to the start of the school day.

Leo Club
Leo club is a service organization that is sponsored and supported by the Harleysville Lions. Working with the school and community LEOs complete many service projects through the year. LEO stands for leadership, experience and opportunity. Open to all students in grades 6-8. Meetings will take place during Focus Block. There is an application and $25 fee.

MathCounts
Nationwide enrichment club and competition program designed to excite students about math by providing opportunities to collaborate with others, compete and creatively problem solve. Open to all students in grades 6-8. Meetings are held after school on Tuesday from September to February. "Come when you can" and have fun!

Morning Show (IVTV)
Open to students that are interested in working in front or behind the camera. Students will be in charge of running the IVTV Morning Show. The group meets in the morning before Advisory.

Musical
PIAA Sports
Students in grades 7th and 8th have the opportunity to participate in the sports teams offered through school. Available sports include:
- Fall: Field Hockey, Soccer, Football and Cheerleading.
- Winter: Boys Basketball, Girls Basketball, Wrestling and Cheerleading.
- Spring: Lacrosse, Baseball, Softball and Track.

Most sports have practice or a game every day after school until 4:30 PM. Tryouts for each sport occur in the beginning of each season and vary depending on the sport.
Reading Olympics
Open to all grades. Organization that encourages a love of reading and teamwork. Students will need to spend time outside of school reading some of the eligible books. Meetings occur once a month after school. The regional competition takes place in March.

SAVE Club
Open to all students and great for students who like the outdoors and science. We work on the IV gardens, donate produce grown to soup kitchens, run Science Night, operate the recycling effort for the building and go out into the community to help keep our local waterways and hiking trails clean! Meetings occur twice a month and students should be able to attend at least half.

Science Fair
Students will put the scientific method to work by completing a science fair experiment that is choice based. Students in grades six, seven and eight will then compete in the Pennsylvania Junior Academy of the Sciences and Montgomery County Science Fair. There are weekly meetings to help guide students through the project. Science Fair is a great way to meet other kids interested in the sciences and take their scientific ideas to the next level!

Select Choir
The Indian Valley Select Choir is a small group of students chosen by audition from the 7th and 8th Grade Chorus. Auditions are held during the first 2 weeks of school. This group rehearses BEFORE school on Wednesdays from 7:00-7:40 and during Focus Block on Wednesdays and Fridays. Select Choir is comprised of students who LOVE to sing, who enjoy being challenged, and who are willing to spend time working on their voices and their songs. The Select Choir sings in the community at places like Arbour Square and Peter Becker, and Enjoys representing Indian Valley well.

Ski/Snowboard Club
Join us for the Indian Valley Ski and Snowboard Club as we travel multiple times in January and February to Spring Mountain to hit the slopes! We take a bus right after school to Spring Mountain to ski or snowboard, and we enjoy the wintery fun until 7:30 PM when parents come to the mountain to pick up students. Don't have your own equipment? No problem! You can rent equipment at the mountain. New to this amazing winter sport - we got you covered! Lessons are available for beginners! If the cold and dark gets you down during those winter months, be sure to sign up for this fun-filled club and enjoy winter on the slopes! Look for sign-ups in December as space is limited for this club.

Student Council
Open to all grades, members are tasked with planning and running Activity Nights, the Talent Show, School Store, Spirit Assemblies, holiday drives and a variety of other activities. Student Council will meet during Focus Block with some nighttime obligations. An initial application of interest is required.

String Fest
Students are selected to participate based on musical skill and demonstrated excellence in work ethics and responsibility. Participation in the group is extremely exclusive, since only one player per part is typically accepted into the group by the Fest host. This means that each musician who participates is representing the very best on their instrument for their entire grade level.

WEB - Where Everybody Belongs
An 8th grade leadership club that focuses on helping incoming 6th grade students to transition to Middle School. WEB leaders run various events throughout the year. Interviews for 7th grade students begin in the spring for the following year. WEB leaders meet to plan during Focus Block.

WINGS Student Board
The mission of the WINGS Student Board is to provide an opportunity for 6th, 7th, 8th Grade Students within our building to communicate and model the message of WINGS within our school community. WINGS Student Board Members will also inform continued improvement and implement programming to help ensure that our school is Welcoming, Involved, Neighborly, Genuine, and Safe. An application process is required to become a WINGS Student Board Member.

Yearbook
Open to all students. Members will work to photograph and document the activities of the year that will culminate in a keepsake that will live on forever. Yearbook committee will meet during Focus block and may meet after school, as needed.
