Course offerings may be combined or eliminated based on student enrollment.

Course Name	Description
Remedial I	Grades 6 - 9 (reading, writing, language arts, social studies, science). Session for students who failed one subject
Remedial II	Grades 6 - 9 (reading, writing, language arts, social studies, science). Session for students who failed two subjects
Bridge Session: (Grades 5-7)	Math/Reading classes for those seeking more practice and skill/concept building, but have not failed a subject. Elementary classes will be scheduled based on grade level.
Algebra IA & IB (8th & 9th):	For students who have failed and need to remediate the course.
Math 6-7	Remedial math for grades 6 and 7
Physical Science 9	Remedial; Tuesday & Thursday 9:00-11:00a.m.

Elementary Strings Week	Held at Vernfield Elementary School July 7 through July 11, 9:00a.m.-12:00 noon Conductor: Ryan Williams
Secondary Strings Week	July 28 through August 1, 9:00a.m.-12:00 noon

• Remedial Courses: Remedial courses are designed for students who need to repeat a course taken during the school year. These courses are aligned with the Souderton Area School District standards/curriculum, and instruction will focus on key concepts.
  * All remedial summer school students must contact Mrs. Ellen Sykes to schedule a mandatory registration meeting prior to the start of school
  • Students who have received a (WF) withdraw/failing grade, or an average grade below fifty percent (50%), are not eligible for summer school.
