IV Eagle Flyby - October 10th

The end of the first marking period is quickly approaching. Fourteen school days remaining until November 1.  Please check Home Access Center (HAC) to keep updated on the progress of your child(ren).  Additionally, contact the teacher(s) if you have any questions.
Moving ahead October is filled with some cool events.

Helping Families Soar Program – Monday, October 29
The goal of Indian Valley Middle School Helping Families SOAR is to educate families about pertinent topics that impact Middle School Students. Along with education on the topics, related coping strategies, and resources, these programs strive to foster opportunities for families to work together and have conversations with one another. Through these programs, Indian Valley Middle School seeks to create stronger relationships with families, while also providing families with the opportunity to become more connected to their school and one another. Cookie Dough Delivery – Wednesday, October 24
The cookie dough delivery from the fundraiser is scheduled for Wednesday, October 24.  Parents will be able to pick up orders from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. in the front lobby of the building.  Also, students can take small orders home with them on the bus or with parents at parent pick up at the end of the day. Please call the main office at 215-5-256-8896 with any questions.

Character Counts Week - October 22-26, 2018
Join Indian Valley Middle School and Indian Valley Character Counts! Coalition as we celebrate the character of all our community members during the week of October 22-26.
We are asking all students to show their character by wearing Character Counts! Colors on the days below.
Monday, October 22 – Purple for Citizenship
Tuesday, October 23 – Green for Responsibility
Wednesday, October 24 – Gold or Yellow for Respect
Thursday, October 25 – Blue for Honesty
Friday, October 26 – Red for Caring

We will be taking photos for the IV Website, Yearbook, and Twitter.

Yearbook Sale for 2018-2019
Yearbooks are officially on sale now through April 1, 2019!  Please note that we are doing online sales only.  A postcard will be sent home in a few weeks with detailed instructions or you can use the link below and follow the prompts for Indian Valley Middle School in Harleysville! 

Also featured this year is an app called ReplayIt!  Any student, parent or teacher can use this app to upload photos directly to the yearbook image gallery!  If you are at an event or just hanging out with some friends, please help us out by uploading your favorite pics in hopes to see them featured in the 2018-2019 yearbook!!! A picture of the Replayit app is below.
Pink Out Day - Coming Fast 
On October 26th, Indian Valley’s WEB program will be hosting are annual Pink Out Day. All proceeds from Pink Out Day will go to support Unite for Her. Unite for Her is an organization dedicated to bridging the gap between the medical and wellness communities by funding and delivering complementary therapies that support the physical and emotional needs of those with breast cancer during treatment and beyond.
