The Kids Tech Exploration Day is a FREE event to provide knowledge & skills to children between the ages 7-13 with a one-day, hands-on learning environment focused on emerging technology. This event is designed to connect curious kids with industry professionals to learn about developing technology and show how these tools are used in businesses every day.
There will be unique learning stations hosted by local companies. Kids receive a tech passport book to be stamped after completing each station. Completion of the book enters them into a raffle for a chance to win a drone. Learning stations may cover topics such as:
- Rapid Prototyping
- Computer Programming
- Computer-Aided Design
- Aerial Drones
- Robotics
While kids explore learning stations, there will be refreshments for parents or family members in attendance. A legal guardian is required to be present for the entirety of the event.
