ART CLUB GRADE 6 - Days 2 or 4 - T1, T2, T3; Grade 6
Sixth grade art club is open to any sixth grade students with a special interest and talent in art. Students will have the opportunity to work with different art media such as pencil, colored pencil, oil pastel, and marker. Specific art projects will be given as assignments. Help paint a mural for permanent display at Indian Valley. Club Sponsor: Mrs. Woods
BOARD GAMES CLUB - Day 2 - T1, T2, T3
Play checkers, chess, othello, backgammon, and other board games in various tournaments and in one-on-one competitions. Bring in your own board games to play with others in the club. (Student games must be pre-approved by Club Sponsor: Mrs. Taylor-Moran)
BOY'S BASKETBALL CLUB - Day 4 - Grade 6 T1, T2; Grade 7 T3
Improve on basic skills such as dribbling, passing, and shooting. Pick up games will be played every week. If you want to have fun and improve your game, sign up for the basketball club. Club Sponsor: Mr. Blair
CARTOONING - Day 2 or Day 4 - T1, T2, T3
If you like to draw and be creative this is the club for you. Learn some techniques for improving your cartooning techniques. Club Sponsor: Mrs. Woods
CHALLENGE 24 CLUB - Day 5 Year
The fever of Challenge 24 game is catching even throughout many other countries. This math game will enhance your mental math, problem solving, concentration, pattern sensing, number sense and critical thinking. It is fun! The Challenge 24 club is open to 6th & 7th graders. 24 ONLINE - Day 4 Year
Join the Indian Valley Challenge 24 Online Team. Students of all math levels are welcome. Club Sponsor: Ms. Carroll will lead the team in online competitions of a variety of Challenge 24 games.
CHESS CLUB - Days 2 or 4 T1, T2, T3
The chess club is for students who are interested in playing chess. It is open to all 6th & 7th grade students who know and like to play chess. Club Sponsor: Mr. Caramenico
DRAMA - Day 1 T1, T2, T3
In this club, students will play fun and energetic theater games and perform improvisation acting similar to "Whose Line Is It Anyway?" Everyone will be expected to participate and act during every class!

EAGLES' NEST - Day 1 - T1, T2, T3 (Diamondbacks only)

FANTASY BASEBALL - Day 1 Year
Ever dream of owning a Major league Franchise? During the first trimester students will draft major league players and use their statistics to make spinners. During the 2nd and 3rd trimesters the regular season games will be played and playoff series will take place. Club Sponsor: Mr. Jernigan
FLOOR HOCKEY - Day 5 - T1, T2, T3 or Day 1 - T1, T2, T3 with Mr. Walker
Students will improve on basic skills of puck handling and shooting. Games will be played each week. Club Sponsors: Mr. McClintock & Mr. Bussom
FRENCH CLUB - Day 2 - T1, T2, T3
If you want to learn some French, eat some French food, hear some French music, play French games, and participate in a learning project, join us! We will share some of our experiences with the "World Friendship Club". Club Sponsor: Ms. Roncoroni
FRISBEE - Day 5 T1, T3
Learn the fine art of Frisbee throwing. Students will compete in a wide variety of Frisbee games. Club Sponsor: Mr. Johnson

GREAT OUTDOORS - Day 4 Year
If you enjoy fishing, hunting, or just being in the great outdoors then this club is for you. Share stories and pictures, read articles, and videos related to this topic. Club Sponsor: Mr. Kayser
HOMEWORK CLUB - Day 2 - Year (Constellations only)
Students will help their classmates with organization and study skills. Club Sponsor: Mrs. Salanik
INTRAMURALS - Days 1, 2 3, and 4 - T1, T2, T3
Intramurals will be open to 40 boys or girls who are interested in competition. The group will be divided into 4 evenly matched teams. Participants will select sports to be played. Competition in each sport will be a round robin format with championships to be won. You will have intramurals one semester and study hall for the other semester. KNITTING CLUB - Day 5 - T1, T2 T3
Learn how to cast on, knit, purl and bind off. Make simple projects such as scarves, hats, sashes and shawls. Open to all levels of knitters. Participants will need their own knitting needles and year. These can be "purchased" through Club Sponsor: Mrs. Smith
LEO CLUB - Day 4 Year
This organization is the middle school version of the Lion's Club. If you like to volunteer and are interested in community service this club is for you. Club Sponsor: Mrs. Odenwald
PARTNER CLUB - See club sponsor for available days (Year)
Peers to work with students in life skills class. Limited # of students per day. Students will join life skills kids in their clubs, teach students to dance, and engage in recreation/leisure or social skills activities with LSS students. Club Sponsor: Mrs. Geissler
PING PONG CLUB - Day 2 T1, T2, T3
The ping-pong club is for players of all abilities, beginners and advanced. Sharpen your skills and enter our tournaments! Club Sponsors: Mr. McClintock/Mr. Bussom
POETRY - Day 1 Year
If you love to read or write poems, look no further. Students will explore a variety of styles. Club Sponsor: Mrs. Frey
READING OLYMPICS - Day 4 or 5 - T1&T2
Students selecting this club will be preparing to compete against other schools in April. Students will be quizzed on the books they have read from a selected list. Students will use websites and the Inspiration Software to help with the preparation. Students will be asked to read five books. Club Sponsors: Mrs. Musselman, Mrs. Butler, and Mr. Paull
RECYCLING CLUB - Day 4 Year
Help keep our school clean, recycle, and work inside and outside our school. Club Sponsor: Ms. Kemps
SCRAPBOOK CLUB - Day 5 Year
Students will help collect articles and clippings for the Indian Valley Scrap Book. The group will also complete their own scrapbook. Students must supply their scrapbooks. Ten dollar ($10.00) lab fee payable at the first meeting. Club Sponsor: Mrs. Picard
SCRABBLE CLUB - Day 2 T1, T2, T3
Play the game of Scrabble. It's as simple as A-B-C! This club will teach spelling, vocabulary, math, dictionary use as well as having fun. Club Sponsor: Mrs. Darragh
STACKING - Day 2 - T1, T2, T3
Stacking cups using both hands for accuracy and or speed. Speed stacking enhances eye hand coordination and ambidexterity. Once you start, you can't stop. Race against the clock; see how fast you can stack. Club Sponsor: Mr. Kelly
WALK and TALK - Days 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 - T1, T2, T3
Go outside and walk around the building or the track. Talk to friends and get fresh air and exercise. We go in all weather except rain, so come dressed appropriately. Club Sponsors: Mrs. Auchenbach, Mrs. Antonelli, Mrs. Musselman and Ms. Roncoroni
WEIGHT ROOM (ICU) - Day 5 T1, T2, T3
This is a co-ed activity open to any student interested in improving fitness. Those interested in creating a healthy active lifestyle will enjoy weight training. Club Sponsor: Mr. Walker
YOGA (ICU) - Day 2 T1, T2, T3
Stay in shape and have fun while you are doing it. Relax while you learn the basic fundamentals of yoga. All students must participate. Club Sponsor: Mrs. Cianchetta
